Celestine Insights :: Celestine Prophecy
THE FIRST INSIGHT . . . A CRITICAL MASS
A new spiritual awakening is occurring in human culture, an awakening brought about by a critical mass of individuals who experience their lives as a spiritual unfolding, a journey in which we are led forward by mysterious coincidences. [A]
1. Meaningful coincidences. We are at a point in the developmental history of human consciousness where development will accelerate. The major evidence for this is the increased number of meaningful coincidences people are noticing in their lives. [B]
1. What? Awakening: Some people are reclaiming their spiritual lives.
THE SECOND INSIGHT . . . THE LONGER NOW
This awakening represents the creation of a new, more complete worldview, which replaces a five-hundred-year-old preoccupation with secular survival and comfort. While this technological preoccupation was an important step, our awakening to life’s coincidences is opening us up to the real purpose of human life on this planet, and the real nature of our universe. [A]
2. Historical perspective. This point in human history can best be understood by a revisioning of the past millennium. In the early part of the millennium, human consciousness was dominated by beliefs promulgated by the Catholic Church: one's proper place in society, humanity at the center of the universe, and the battle between good and evil. These beliefs gave meaning to life. This domination was challenged during the Renaissance and Reformation. At that time, humanity established a grand project of exploring the world, using the tools of science, with the hope of getting a new answer to the meaning of life. While waiting for that answer to come in, attention turned to increasing material comfort. That project is now at an end--material comfort has been achieved, but we have lost touch with sources of meaning. Moreover, the answers we wanted are now appearing--not necessarily from institutional science, but from a variety of sources. [B]
2. When? This new spirituality occurs in a materialistic world.
THE THIRD INSIGHT . . . A MATTER OF ENERGY
We now experience that we live not in a material universe, but in a universe of dynamic energy. Everything extant is a field of sacred energy that we can sense and intuit. Moreover, we humans can project our energy by focusing our attention in the desired direction…where attention goes, energy flows…influencing other energy systems and increasing the pace of coincidences in our lives. [A]
3. Subtle energy. There is an energy, previously undetected by science, that forms the basis of all things. Human perception of that energy starts with an increased awareness of beauty: people, animals, plants, ecosystems that have a high level of that energy appear particularly beautiful. By becoming aware of that energy, we become able to notice when and how we give and receive energy. [B]
3. How? Energy is the new name for love or spirit or soul or unity or the breath of life
THE FOURTH INSIGHT . . . THE STRUGGLE FOR POWER [A]
Too often humans cut themselves off from the greater source of this energy and then feel weak and insecure. To gain energy, we tend to manipulate or force others to give us attention and their energy. When we successfully dominate others in this way, we feel more powerful, but they are left weakened and often fight back. Competition for scarce, human energy is the cause of all conflict between people.
4. Competition for energy. A fundamental assumption underlies most human interactions: we must compete for this energy, drawing it from others and protecting ourselves from others' attempts to draw it from us. This leads to some nasty interactions. [B]
4. Why? Hostile absorption of another's energy is the new sin.
THE FIFTH INSIGHT . . . THE MESSAGE OF THE MYSTICS
Insecurity and violence ends when we experience an inner connection with divine energy within, a connection described by mystics of all traditions. A sense of lightness and buoyancy, along with the constant sensation of love, are measures of this connection. If these measures are present, the connection is real. If not, it is only pretended. [A]
5. Energy abundance. In fact, competition is unnecessary because subtle energy exists in abundance. In particular, we can acquire more by eating plants which have high energy levels. (And we can ensure that the plants have high energy levels by paying attention to them, by giving them energy.) Being in a loving state not only connects our energy to the object of our love, but to a greater source of energy as well. This is the essence of mystical experience. The goal of mystical practice - and practice of the lessons of the Celestine Prophecy - is to get and remain connected with the energy. Moreover, a person's energy is the source of the meaningful coincidences noticed in the First Insight. Each mystical experience stretches a person's potential, causing them to exist "at a higher state of vibration".
The best description of all this comes a little later in the book. Father Sanchez says, "Love is not an intellectual concept or a moral imperative or anything else. It is a background emotion that exists when one is connected to the energy available in the universe, which , of course, is the energy of God." [page 153] [B]
5. The Source: There is an abundant source of energy within each people. That energy comes from a global source. Or: the Creator is an eternal source of love and resides in all.
THE SIXTH INSIGHT . . . CLEARING THE PAST
The more we stay connected, the more we are acutely aware of those times when we lose connection, usually when we are under stress. In these times, we can see our own particular way of stealing energy from others. Once our manipulations are brought to personal awareness, our connection becomes more constant and we can discover our own growth path in life, and our spiritual mission–the personal way we can contribute to the world. [A]
6. Getting clear. In order to be in a state of love with the world on a regular basis, we have to let go of patterns of behavior we developed to take energy from others.
First, we have to become aware of our "control dramas" and break our controlling habits. There are four control patterns or ways of causing others to give us energy, two actively demanding energy, two passively creating conditions in which energy is sent. "Active" control dramas include intimidation and interrogation - asking questions and then picking apart the answers. "Passive" control dramas include aloofness - creating an air of mystery that entices others to send energy--and "poor me"--creating a sense that if others don't provide energy, something awful will happen to the controller.
Second, we have to "get clear" of our control dramas. We must understand our parents' control dramas and how these shaped ours. Then we must learn what meaning our parents' lives had for us, and how this determines our own developmental work. The things we would change about our parents - individually and together - are what we need to work on in our own lives. [B]
THE SEVENTH INSIGHT . . . ENGAGING THE FLOW
Knowing our personal mission further enhances the flow of mysterious coincidences as we are guided toward our destinies. First we have a question; then dreams, daydreams, and intuitions lead us towards the answers, which usually are synchronistically provided by the wisdom of another human being. [A]
7. Using intuition. When we are in touch with the energy, clear of our control dramas, and aware of the questions relevant to this moment, our intuition supplies the answers we need. Once we are aware of these answers, we need only watch for meaningful coincidences to show us how to act on them. [B]
THE EIGHTH INSIGHT . . . THE INTERPERSONAL ETHIC
We can increase the frequency of guiding coincidences by uplifting every person that comes into our lives. Care must be taken not to lose our inner connection in romantic relationships. Uplifting others is especially effective in groups where each member can feel energy of all the others. With children, this is extremely important for their early security and growth. By seeing the beauty in every face, we lift others into their wisest self, and increase the chances of hearing a synchronistic message. [A]
8. Relating to others. This insight comes in several pieces.
THE NINTH INSIGHT . . . THE EMERGING CULTURE
As we all evolve toward the best completion of our spiritual missions, the technological means of survival will be fully automated as humans focus instead on synchronistic growth. Such growth will move humans into higher energy states, ultimately transforming our bodies into spiritual form, and uniting this dimension of existence with the after-life dimension. Thus, ending the cycle of birth and death. [A]
9. Conscious evolution. This insight is a vision of culture in the next millennium.
Humans consciously participate in their evolution by living according to their intuition, which guides them in such a way as to increase their energy. Population decreases so much that most of the world can be allowed to return to wilderness, creating old-growth forests full of energy. The means of survival are automated and available to everyone. Their sense of purpose is satisfied by "the thrill of our own evolution". People will consume less and work less so that they can work on their evolution. (Redfield is ambiguous about this: Lower consumption may not be necessary because people will pay you for your spiritual insights. "When people come into our lives at just the right time to give us the answers we need, we should give them money." [page 226])
The goal of this evolution is to achieve a level of vibration that makes us invisible to others, perhaps even immaterial. Jesus was the first to do this, and sporadic individuals continue to do so. (The main character's mentor does so in the conclusion of the book.) The ultimate goal is for large groups to "cross over" together in a "general rapture". The Mayans are alleged to have done this. THE TENTH INSIGHT . . . HOLDING THE VISION
The Tenth Insight is the realization that throughout history, human beings have been unconsciously struggling to implement this “lived” spirituality on Earth. Each of us comes here on assignment, and as we pull this understanding into consciousness, we can remember a full birth vision of what we wanted to accomplish with our lives. Furthermore, we can remember a common world vision of how we will all work together to create a new spiritual culture. We know that our challenge is to hold this vision with intention and prayer every day. [A]
THE ELEVENTH INSIGHT . . . EXTENDING PRAYER FIELDS
The Eleventh Insight is the precise method through which we hold the vision. For centuries, religious scriptures, poems, and philosophies have pointed to a latent power of mind within all of us that mysteriously helps to affect what occurs in the future. It has been called faith power, positive thinking, and the power of prayer. We are now taking this power seriously enough to bring a fuller knowledge of it into public awareness. We are finding that this prayer power is a field of intention, which moves out from us and can be extended and strengthened, especially when we connect with others in a common vision. This is the power through which we hold the vision of a spiritual world and build the energy in ourselves, and in others, to make this vision a reality. [A]
THE TWELFTH INSIGHT . . . THE HOUR OF DECISION
Armed with Divine confidence, we begin to take the next step to self-knowledge. We experience times when a greater sense of Divine begins to dwell within us. This indwelling feels like a sense of God’s presence. We still have our personal identity but this status become subservient to a complete consciousness of love, patience, and openness to action. For this presence to remain or get more powerful, we must be totally transcendent of our “Control Dramas,” or moments where we do not act on our intuition of other people’s best interest. In this sense, Divine presence is always there, unless our bad habits put distance between us.
Simply put, the process is this: when we’re not in the flow, we feel disconnected and either anxious or frustrated. So we distract ourselves with various compulsive activities designed to make our misery go away. It could be anything from over-shopping, compulsively watching sports or celebrities, and actual addictive behavior, from sex to drugs. Everyone knows what his or her vices are, including you, and transcending them keeps you in touch with the magic of Synchronicity. [A]

- Development can be blocked by an "addiction to another person". The subtle energy has a male and female side. If you can access one and someone else the other, then for a short time the couple can be filled with energy. But the focus on the other person eventually cuts each off from the universal energy. The two begin competing for energy, restarting control dramas. This is the falling-in-love/falling-out-of-love phenomenon.
- Everyone who crosses our path has a message for us. We should give them energy and help them get clear so that they can accurately deliver the message.
- Other people's control dramas will break down if we name them and refuse to play a role in them.

Emoções e sentimentos que são escondidos, reprimidos, acabam em doenças como: gastrite, úlcera, dores lombares, dor na coluna.. Com o tempo a repressão dos sentimentos degenera até em câncer. Então vamos desabafar, confidenciar, partilhar nossa intimidade, nossos segredos, nossos pecados.O diálogo, a fala, a palavra, é um poderoso remédio e excelente terapia..
Se não quiser adoecer – “Tome decisão”
A pessoa indecisa permanece na dúvida, na ansiedade, na angústia. A indecisão acumula problemas, preocupações, agressões. A história humana é feita de decisões. Para decidir é preciso saber renunciar, saber perder vantagem e valores para ganhar outros. As pessoas indecisas são vítimas de doenças nervosas, gástricas e problemas de pele.
Se não quiser adoecer – “Busque soluções”
Pessoas negativas não enxergam soluções e aumentam os problemas.Preferem a lamentação, a murmuração, o pessimismo. Melhor é acender o fósforo que lamentar a escuridão. Pequena é a abelha, mas produz o que de mais doce existe. Somos o que pensamos. O pensamento negativo gera energia negativa que se transforma em doença.
Se não quiser adoecer – “Não viva de aparências”
Quem esconde a realidade finge, faz pose, quer sempre dar a impressão que está bem, quer mostrar-se perfeito, bonzinho etc., está acumulando toneladas de peso… uma estátua de bronze, mas com pés de barro.Nada pior para a saúde que viver de aparências e fachadas. São pessoas com muito verniz e pouca raiz. Seu destino é a farmácia, o hospital, a dor.
Se não quiser adoecer – “Aceite-se”
A rejeição de si próprio, a ausência de auto-estima, faz com que sejamos algozes de nós mesmos. Ser eu mesmo é o núcleo de uma vida saudável. Os que não se aceitam são invejosos, ciumentos, imitadores, competitivos, destruidores. Aceitar-se, aceitar ser aceito, aceitar as críticas, é sabedoria, bom senso e terapia.
Se não quiser adoecer – “Confie”
Quem não confia, não se comunica, não se abre, não se relaciona, não cria liames profundos, não sabe fazer amizades verdadeiras. Sem confiança, não há relacionamento. A desconfiança é falta de fé em si, nos outros e em Deus.
Se não quiser adoecer – “Não viva SEMPRE triste!”
O bom humor, a risada, o lazer, a alegria, recuperam a saúde e trazem vida longa. A pessoa alegre tem o dom de alegrar o ambiente em que vive.
“O bom humor nos salva das mãos do doutor”. Alegria é saúde e terapia.

Pequena é a abelha, mas produz o que de mais doce existe. Somos o que pensamos. O pensamento negativo gera energia negativa que se transforma em doença.

Quem esconde a realidade finge, faz pose, quer sempre dar a impressão que está bem, quer mostrar-se perfeito, bonzinho etc., está acumulando toneladas de peso… uma estátua de bronze, mas com pés de barro.Nada pior para a saúde que viver de aparências e fachadas. Se não quiser adoecer – “Aceite-se”
A rejeição de si próprio, a ausência de auto-estima, faz com que sejamos algozes de nós mesmos. Ser eu mesmo é o núcleo de uma vida saudável. Os que não se aceitam são invejosos, ciumentos, imitadores, competitivos, destruidores. Aceitar-se, aceitar ser aceito, aceitar as críticas, é sabedoria, bom senso e terapia.
Se não quiser adoecer – “Confie”
Quem não confia, não se comunica, não se abre, não se relaciona, não cria liames profundos, não sabe fazer amizades verdadeiras. Sem confiança, não há relacionamento. A desconfiança é falta de fé em si, nos outros e em Deus.
Se não quiser adoecer – “Não viva SEMPRE triste!”
O bom humor, a risada, o lazer, a alegria, recuperam a saúde e trazem vida longa. A pessoa alegre tem o dom de alegrar o ambiente em que vive.
“O bom humor nos salva das mãos do doutor”. Alegria é saúde e terapia.

Educação Holística - 3 Cérebros
-"Eu coloco ênfase de que somos seres com três cérebros: temos cabeça (cérebro intelectual), coração (cérebro emocional) e intestino (cérebro visceral ou instintivo). A civilização está intimamente ligada à tomada do poder pelo cérebro racional. No momento em que os homens predominaram no controle político, cerca de 6000 anos atrás, instaurou-se o que chamamos de civilização. E não é só o domínio masculino e nem só o domínio da razão, mas também a razão instrumental e prática, que se associa com a tecnologia; é este predomínio da razão instrumental sobre o afeto e a sabedoria instintiva, que nos tem empobrecido. A plenitude só pode existir em uma pessoa que tem os três cérebros ordenados e coordenados. Deste meu ponto de vista, precisamos de uma educação para os seres com três cérebros. Uma educação que poderia ser chamada de holística ou integral. Se vamos educar a pessoa como um todo, devemos ter em mente que a pessoa não é apenas razão. "
